Security in any city the size of Houston can be problematic, however this committee works closely with HPD and other law enforcement agencies to keep the area within the SNs boundaries as safe as possible for the residents and business owners.  

 HPD holds PIP (Positive Interaction Program) meetings throughout the City on a regular basis.  The Westside Command Station hosts a PIP meeting every third Thursday of the month (except July and August) at 7:00 pm.  There are speakers from HPD departments each month, discussing topics such as SWAT teams/training, crime stoppers, officer training, etc.  There is also an opportunity to discuss your concerns with HPD staff.
